Pinus cembra

Pinus cembra or Swiss Stone Pine grows in an uniform manner without shearing. We have this almost 7 ft tall specimen in a 20 gal pot and it is priced at $350. We also have a balled and burlapped cultivar called ‘Silver Sheen’ for $375. Full sun is best.

This ‘table -top’ Japanese Red pine would make an excellent addtion to any Asian inspired garden. This specimen is only 3 ft tall by 6 ft wide. Poncirus trifoliata ‘Flying Dragon’ is an interesting focal point for a garden or landscape. The small tree has white flowers in spring, tiny to small entire green leaves, half-dollar size orange fruits ( which are bitter tasteing but can be used for a zest), and an eye-catching tangle of twisting torny green branches all winter. This specimen was field grown for 4 years and now has been established in a pot for one year. 6 ft by 3 ft, price is $450.

Pond cypress - Debonnair 10-2010

This is an underused deciduous conifer that grows to 30 ft by 8 ft wide. This upright tree has a very airy look as the arrangement of needles are vertical initially. Fall color is orange and browns. This cultivar is grafted on Bald cypress so it can tolerate wet conditions without a problem. It looks great beside a large water feature.This specimen is in a 45 gal pot, 12 ft x 4 ft wide and is priced at $500.

Japanese Umbrella Pine 10-2010

This eye-catching conifer prefers some protection from the afternoon sun. It also requires well-drained soils. Pryamidal in youth, the Japanese Umbrella pine often keeps this shape for many years. The shiny needles are arranged in whorls, lending an exotic look to this tree, with light reflecting off the needles.
This specimen is about 8ft by 6 ft wide, in a 75 gal box ( $75 box deposit required), and is priced at $1100.

'Green Arrow' Weeping Alaskan Cedar 10-2010

This particularly handsome cultivar of the Weeping Alaskan Cedar prefers full sun and adequate moisture. ‘Green Arrow’ actually has more blue in the foliage than the name would suggest.The tree starts off fairly narrow, and with maturity can be somewhat wider. It would make a striking focal point for a landscape. This tree has been established in a 45 gal pot for 2 years and so it is ready to take off in the landscape.This tree is about 12 ft x 4 ft wide.  Price is $625.

Ths tree has a nice branch structure and is large enough to have immediate impact in the landscape.
