Pinus cembra or Swiss Stone Pine grows in an uniform manner without shearing. We have this almost 7 ft tall specimen in a 20 gal pot and it is priced at $350. We also have a balled and burlapped cultivar called ‘Silver Sheen’ for $375. Full sun is best.

Flying Dragon Hardy Orange 10-2010

Poncirus trifoliata ‘Flying Dragon’ is an interesting focal point for a garden or landscape. The small tree has white flowers in spring, tiny to small entire green leaves, half-dollar size orange fruits ( which are bitter tasteing but can be used for a zest), and an eye-catching tangle of twisting torny green branches all winter. Pond cypress - Debonnair 10-2010

This is an underused deciduous conifer that grows to 30 ft by 8 ft wide. This upright tree has a very airy look as the arrangement of needles are vertical initially. Fall color is orange and browns. This cultivar is grafted on Bald cypress so it can tolerate wet conditions without a problem. Japanese Umbrella Pine 10-2010

This eye-catching conifer prefers some protection from the afternoon sun. It also requires well-drained soils. Pryamidal in youth, the Japanese Umbrella pine often keeps this shape for many years. The shiny needles are arranged in whorls, lending an exotic look to this tree, with light reflecting off the needles.

Ths tree has a nice branch structure and is large enough to have immediate impact in the landscape.
